Hello, writer friends!
So excited to have you with us.
One of the main missions of Radiate Literary Journal is to connect student writers with each other and allow them to provide feedback on each other’s writing. We’d love for you to get involved in the Radiate community.
Here’s how to do that.
First, follow along and subscribe to the Radiate Online Journal. This will get you access to all of the fresh student voices we feature. Our editors work hard to make sure all of these pieces are polished and unique.
Second, visit each piece on the Radiate Online Journal. This online journal will be launching soon as we process our first submissions. Comment on each piece with your feedback. Be sure to be respectful and encouraging, but also share all the knowledge you have. If you really love providing feedback to other writers and helping them improve, go ahead and apply to join our team of editors. We need people like you!
Third, connect with fellow student writers during contests and events. Once we get a steady flow of submissions, we’ll start hosting some contests and virtual events where you can work with other writers or with an editor to tag-team on a piece. Winners of these contests will be guaranteed a spot in the next issue. This will be a fun way to polish your writing skills with other student writers.
Finally, spread the word! As Radiate grows, the opportunities we have to offer do as well. Radiate Literary is a new type of support for student writers, and we can’t do it without you. Let your friends and family members know. If you’re invested in the mission of Radiate to support young writers in developing unique voice, contact the editor-in-chief Grace C. at firstname.lastname@example.org for ways you can help promote our work.
Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you thriving in the Radiate Literary community.
